This is a rare opportunity to own the highly sought-after, discontinued ‘Old Style’ bottling of The Dalmore 12 Year Old.
This 70cl bottle is the predecessor to the modern 12-year-old and is prized by enthusiasts for its classic profile. This presentation is no longer available from the distillery and has become a must-have for Dalmore collectors.
The spirit is a masterpiece of maturation, aged for nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. The whisky is then split, with one half continuing its maturation in bourbon barrels while the other half is transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for the final three years, before being married back together.
This process creates the iconic Dalmore profile: rich, smooth, and full-bodied, with notes of citrus, dark chocolate, sherry-soaked fruit, and aromatic spice.
