This is Project XX (pronounced ‘Twenty’), the second and one of the most celebrated releases from Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series.
A truly unique single malt, this whisky was born from a collaboration between 20 different Glenfiddich Brand Ambassadors and Malt Master Brian Kinsman. Each of the 20 ambassadors was invited to choose any single cask from the distillery’s vast warehouses—from aged Port pipes to virgin oak and ex-bourbon barrels.
Brian Kinsman then masterfully vatted these 20 incredibly diverse casks together to create this one-of-a-kind expression.
Bottled at a higher strength of 47% ABV (non-chill filtered), Project XX is a deep, complex, and powerful whisky, showcasing the classic Glenfiddich fruitiness (apple blossom, ripe pear) but with a rich, complex body of candy floss, toasted almonds, cinnamon, and a long, sweet oak finish.
