This is the first-ever release in Glenfiddich’s celebrated Experimental Series: the groundbreaking IPA Cask Finish.
This pioneering single malt started a new movement in whisky finishing. It was created in collaboration with a local Speyside craft brewer, who helped Glenfiddich develop a new India Pale Ale specifically to season bespoke oak casks.
The Glenfiddich malt whisky was then finished in these unique IPA-seasoned barrels, absorbing their distinctive character. This process imbues the classic Glenfiddich spirit with a vibrant, zesty citrus note and a subtle, satisfying tang of fresh green hops, all balanced with sweet vanilla and a hint of spice.
As the first and now discontinued release in the series, this has become a sought-after bottle for collectors and enthusiasts.
