This is the Cenote Cristalino Añejo, an ultra-premium, 100% Agave Azul tequila presented in a stunning, handcrafted decanter.
This is a modern masterpiece of tequila making. The spirit is first aged for over a year in American oak barrels, developing the rich, complex, and smooth character of a classic Añejo tequila.
It then undergoes a proprietary charcoal filtration process. This filtering removes the deep amber colour from the barrel-aging, while carefully retaining the rich, complex flavours of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak.
The result is a “Cristalino”—a tequila that has the bright, crisp notes of a Blanco but the smooth, luxurious palate of an Extra-Añejo. It is bottled in this beautiful decanter, featuring a unique “pineapple” or “agave” stopper, inspired by the natural beauty of the Yucatan cenotes.
