This is a truly unique and limited-edition Cognac from the pioneering house of Camus.
As part of an innovative experiment, this Cognac was sailed across the Atlantic Ocean, maturing for 45 days in 10 different casks. This “oceanic maturation” in a humid, salty, and dynamic environment dramatically accelerated the aging process, resulting in a spirit with an exceptionally high concentration of esters (48.2%).
Crucially, this Cognac was matured in casks that previously held Caribbean Rum, imparting a unique and complex flavour profile not found in traditional Cognac. It balances the spirit’s floral notes with new layers of exotic fruit, spice, and a subtle, smoky sweetness.
Bottled at a robust 45.3% ABV, this is a must-have for any Cognac enthusiast seeking a truly experimental and rare spirit shaped by the sea.
