Unlike any other Cognac, this spirit is crafted from grapes grown on the Île de Ré, an island off the west coast of France. This terroir alone gives the Cognac a distinct, crisp, and maritime character.
What makes this ‘Cliffside Cellar’ edition truly exceptional is its unique finishing process. After initial aging, the Cognac is transported to the historic Fort de La Prée, a 17th-century fortress situated just metres from the Atlantic Ocean. This second maturation in a damp, salty, ocean-swept cellar imbues the spirit with subtle iodine notes and a one-of-a-kind salty, spicy finish that is impossible to replicate.
