This highly sought-after, discontinued bottle is a must-have for collectors. The 2023 release is a unique single malt blend that has been aged for a minimum of 12 years before being finished in casks made from rare, fresh Mizunara (Japanese oak).
The use of precious Mizunara oak imparts the iconic, complex, and aromatic character that Yamazaki is famous for, with notes of sandalwood, clove, and exotic spice. This beautifully balances the whisky’s creamy, fruity profile of pineapple, orange, and nutmeg, all leading to a long, woody, and lightly smoky finish.
