Auchroisk Distillery
A fairly modern distillery, Auchroisk was built in 1972 in order to keep up with the demand for blended malts. Today the distillery is owned by Diageo and is known for single malts such as the Auchroisk 10 YO Flora & Fauna, and ‘The Singleton’ bottings.
Singleton
The Singleton brand was launched by Diageo in 2006 with three of the distilleries under its portfolio: Glendullan, Glen Ord, and Dufftown. The brand has subsequently been extremely successful, with Diageo recently unveiling plans to rival Glenlivet and Glenfiddich as single malt brands in their own right.
