This is the legendary Royal Salute 21 Year Old, presented in the highly collectible Blue ‘Sapphire’ Flagon.
This ultra-premium blend was famously created in 1953 to celebrate the Coronation of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. The three original flagon colours (Sapphire, Ruby, and Emerald) were inspired by the precious gems in the Royal Crown.
The whisky inside is a masterful blend of the finest single malt and grain whiskies, all aged for a minimum of 21 years in the cellars of the Strathisla distillery, the spiritual home of Chivas.
This is a rich and sophisticated whisky, renowned for its powerful aroma of sweet pears and citrus, a full palate of sweet orange marmalade and spice, and an exceptionally long, smooth finish.
