This is the 40th Anniversary bottling of Ireland’s most sought-after whiskey: the Midleton Very Rare 2024 Vintage Release.
A true collector’s item, this 40th edition was crafted by Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman. He has given this vintage a unique profile by increasing the percentage of grain whiskey and first-fill American oak barrels in the blend, resulting in a rich, smooth, and complex spirit.
This expression is a masterful blend of the finest single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys, aged between 12 and 33 years, which have been laid down in the Midleton Distillery’s supreme inventory.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Apricot, floral honey, creamy fudge, and pear drops.
