The Macallan Enigma was the top-tier, most sought-after bottle in the entire range, created to celebrate Macallan’s mastery of oak. This highly collectible release is now sold out at all original retailers.
This whisky is a 100% Sherry-matured powerhouse. It was aged exclusively in first-fill European red oak sherry-seasoned casks from a single cooperage in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. This specific and rare cask maturation gives it an intense, rich, and complex flavour profile that Macallan is world-famous for.
Expect a powerful dram bursting with flavours of dried fruits, rich cinnamon, sweet vanilla, and intensely smooth, lingering wood spice. It is a stunning example of a classic, sherry-forward Macallan.
