The Highland Park Valknut is the second release in the collectible “Viking Legend” series, created in partnership with renowned Danish designer Jim Lyngvild. The name Valknut translates to “knot of those slain in battle,” a symbol associated with the Norse god Odin.
This expression is distinct from the standard Highland Park range because it uses a higher proportion of Orkney-grown ‘Tartan’ barley, which creates a smokier and punchier profile. Matured predominantly in sherry-seasoned American oak casks, it offers a fascinating balance of sweet vanilla and intense aromatic peat smoke.
The packaging features a striking Nordic design with the Valknut symbol (three interlocked triangles), making it a visual standout for any collection of Island whiskies.
