The excellent Hibiki 12 in the 70cl bottling of blended Japanese whisky, including malts from Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries. Sadly now discontinued! Nose: Juicy marmalade with real chunks of orange, cooked apples dusted with cinnamon, thick honey and plum wine. Palate: Crushed almonds, stewed fruits, clove-studded oranges. Sherried malt and a subtle core of oak. Finish: Bright and flavoursome with crisp apple and citrus.” This bottle is very hard to find now for sale anywhere, a real collectors bottle.
