This is the predecessor to the modern 21-year-old and is a must-have for Glenfiddich collectors. This multi-award-winning single malt is aged for 21 years in American oak casks before being finished for four months in specially selected Caribbean Rum Casks.
This final finishing period in ‘Gran Reserva’ barrels imparts a unique, vibrant, and complex character to the classic Glenfiddich spirit. It is renowned for its intense, sweet vanilla aroma, notes of fig, banana, and rich toffee, and a long, warming, and spicy finish.
