This is a rare and highly sought-after bottle of Glenfiddich 18 Year Old ‘Ancient Reserve’, the iconic discontinued expression.
This is the original 2000s-era bottling, presented in its classic green “wedge” presentation tube. It has since been replaced by the modern “Small Batch Reserve,” making this ‘Ancient Reserve’ a true collector’s item and increasingly hard to find.
This 18-year-old Speyside single malt is robust and full-bodied, yet remarkably mellow. It offers an elegant nose of apple and wood, leading to a slightly sweet palate perfectly balanced by subtle oak and a delicate maltiness.
