This particular bottle is not a general commercial release. It was a private bottling, commissioned and specially engraved for the 22 Special Air Service (SAS) Regiment. As a private commission, these bottles were not widely available to the public. They were likely produced in limited quantities for members of the regiment, which makes them much rarer than the standard Glenfarclas 12-year-old.
