A significant step up from the 10 Year Old, this Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is matured for a full 12 years in 100% Oloroso sherry casks. This process, championed by the independent, family-owned distillery, gives the whisky its signature rich, amber colour and complex flavour.
This expression is a beautifully balanced single malt, offering a fresh and fruity nose with a tempting spicy sweetness. The palate is full-bodied with delicious sherried fruit, oak, and notes of date and walnut cake. The finish is long and flavoursome, with a lingering, gentle spiciness.
