This rare, discontinued bottle was part of the official Diageo x HBO “Game of Thrones” Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection, released in 2019 to celebrate the show’s final season.
This expression was chosen to represent House Targaryen, led by the fiery Daenerys. The Cardhu distillery, one of the oldest in Speyside, was famously led by two pioneering women, Helen and Elizabeth Cumming, who were celebrated for their determination and spirit.
The whisky itself is the classic Cardhu Gold Reserve—a smooth, rich, and mellow single malt with notes of honey, baked apple, caramel, and a hint of spice.
