A Rare Vintage from Venezuela’s Most Prestigious Distillery
The Diplomático Single Vintage 2002 is an ultra-premium rum crafted solely from the harvest of a single year—one identified by the Maestros Roneros (Master Blenders) as yielding exceptional sugar cane.
This limited edition was distilled in ancient copper pot stills and initially aged for approximately 12 years in bourbon and single malt whisky casks. To create its signature depth and complexity, it was then finished for one additional year in Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks.
The result is a rum of incredible richness and character, offering a distinct step up from the standard Reserva Exclusiva. It is presented in a premium blue presentation box with a decanter-style bottle.

Nose: Rich and complex, with aromas of vanilla, caramel, and almonds, followed by hints of dried fruits and sherry wood.

Palate: Silky and full-bodied. Expect deep flavours of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and butter toffee, balanced by the sweetness of dried apricots and raisins.
