A true “showstopper” of a blend, this is a serial award-winner that faithfully re-creates the first luxury whisky, originally shipped from Scotland to New York in 1909.
It is crafted from a masterful blend of the finest malt and grain whiskies, each one matured in specially-selected casks for a minimum of a quarter of a century. This long maturation creates an incredibly rich and smooth whisky.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Rich, nutty, and thick with notes of malt and berry fruits, hints of liquorice, raspberries, and sweet porridge oats.
- Palate: Soft and gentle, building with an elegant toffee-like character. Hints of boiled sweets, aniseed, and custard.
