This is a highly sought-after collectible from the discontinued Bowmore x Aston Martin “Designed by” series, which was exclusive to Travel Retail.
This bottle is the Second Edition of the 15-Year-Old, released in 2021. It pairs the “Golden & Elegant” Bowmore 15 Year Old with the visionary 1939 Aston Martin Atom concept car, which is featured on the collector’s box.
This is a beautifully balanced and smooth Islay malt. Unlike its sherry-cask-matured siblings, this 15-year-old has been matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and hogsheads.
This maturation imparts a beautiful golden colour and a refined flavour profile. Expect notes of honey, creamy vanilla, and zesty citrus, all interwoven with a sophisticated, gentle peat smoke and a classic maritime, sea-salt finish.
