A Piece of Parliamentary History
This is a vintage bottling of the “House of Lords” Deluxe Blended Scotch, produced by the historic blending house William Whiteley & Co. For decades, this brand held a prestigious reputation, with the label proudly stating it was “supplied to the members of the House of Lords” in Westminster.
The liquid itself is a high-quality 12-year-old blend, renowned for being richer and softer than standard market blends of its era (likely late 1980s or 1990s). It is presented in a distinctive square decanter-style bottle with a red wax-style seal on the back.
Condition Note: Please note that while the bottle and seal are in good condition, the original blue presentation box shows significant signs of age and wear, including creasing and scuffing to the edges (as pictured). This is common for this specific packaging, which was made from softer card than modern whisky boxes.
